General Information
All participants are encouraged to take part in the social events. To join,
you must reserve your spot by registering for each event you wish to attend – even
those included in the registration fee. Without proper reservation, we cannot
guarantee your attendance. If an event you wish to attend is not mentioned
in your confirmation letter, please contact the Conference Management at info@conferenceagency.com
Welcome
Reception
All participants and registered guests are invited to join the Welcome Reception,
an informal gathering with drinks and culinary treats.

Conference Dinner
All participants and their registered guests are invited to attend the Conference
Dinner. We have arranged a spectacular location for this optional dinner.
Date: Tuesday 6 September 2005
Location: La Caverne de Geulhem. Located in the valley of the river Geul,
the Caverne is a festive location comprised of an age-old labyrinth of caves.
Excellent
cuisine by the glow of candlelight in a cave – truly a night to remember.
Time: 19.00 – 23.00. Busses will leave from the conference venue at 18.30.
Price: € 80,00 per person, including transportation
Town Hall Reception
The historic town hall on the Market Square will serve as the venue for a reception
hosted by the city of Maastricht. A masterpiece created by the Dutch architect,
Pieter Post, the town hall dates back to 1659-64. All participants and their
registered guests are invited to attend the reception. Busses will leave from
the conference venue at 18.30. Space is limited. Early registration is advised.

Dine Around Tour
Following the Town Hall Reception, you will have the opportunity to sample
cuisine from a few of Maastricht’s favorite eateries. You’ll enjoy
three courses (appetizer, main course and dessert) at three different restaurants.
As you meander the cobble stoned streets from one culinary treat to the next,
a guide will reveal interesting information about the city. Participation is
limited. Early registration is advised.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY
City Tour Maastricht
The best way to discover the charm of Maastricht is to walk through the old
center of the city with the expert guidance of a host. You will not want
to miss the restored Stokstraat quarter featuring the most exclusive shops
in the Netherlands, the old rampart walls, the beautiful parks and the famous
Vrijthof square with its impressive churches. Particpants and registered
guests are invited to attend.

Cancellation and Refunds, Social Program Participation
The Conference Management must be notified in writing of cancellations on or
before 1 July 2005. Payment will be refunded after the symposium, minus an
administration fee of 30%. For cancellations made after 1 July 2005, no refund
can be made.
